You ...
- are 18 years or older and have a minimum of six months of continuous sobriety.
- are committed to drug free and sober living, and to continuing your educational pursuits.
- realize that to safely continue your process of transition into self-sufficiency and self-management, a structured, supportive environment with like-minded peers is for you.
- typically will be transitioning to our residences from a drug and alcohol treatment program, where you have established your foothold in sober living.
- may be a graduate of Gatehouse Academy (most of our candidates are); however, all who meet our campus criteria are eligible and welcome.
Admission is Based On ...
- your commitment to recovery, your attitudes and behaviors.
- your desire to change and a willingness to work a program of recovery.
- your acceptance of and agreement to the Gatehouse College Campus Guidelines for Residency.
- your potential to contribute in a positive way to the program.
- your willingness to be of service.
- your determination to succeed at all levels.
Your understanding that the following behaviors will result in immediate dismissal:
- Use alcohol or other drugs of any kind (except for prescription and approved over-the-counter medications).
- Engage in intimate relationships with fellow residents.
- Display inappropriate rage or anger or any violence or threat of violence.
- Engage in any unlawful activities.
